The IPLPR-EL4IR8Z3X is a 4 MP (2688 x 1520) camera from our Elite series of surveillance products. This bullet style camera has a motorized vari-focal lens from 8 mm to 32 mm. This amazing camera combines the features from two advanced cameras – License Plate Recognition (LPR) and Active Deterrent (AD). It also has a built-in microphone and speaker, which gives it capability for two way audio.
The Active Deterrence features of this camera means that it can determine if someone is in a restricted area. If this occurs the camera can then trigger its (siren or customizable audio file) and/or red/blue flashing lights. Intrusion and loitering detection are also supported.
The LPR feature of this camera means that it is much better at capturing a legible plate number and it makes it much easier to access this video once recorded. It can capture plates from 26 to 98 feet and at speeds up to 75 mph, although around 25 mph is recommended. Once this video is recorded the plate number will be a searchable field in the recorded footage.
