These new features include but are not limited to, SMD plus, which stands for smart motion detection which involves an intelligent algorithm that can categorize targets that trigger motion detection and then filter those triggers between vehicles and human beings to deliver only the push notifications via the smartphone App to only alert you whenever there is a person or vehicle, or both, within the camera’s view, thus greatly reducing the number of false alerts. The SMD plus is available on up to all 32 channels. 

The PENDVR-ELC324K-AI3 supports facial recognition on up to 6 channels at one time and has support for up to 10 databases with a maximum of 20,000 face images in total. This AI function of the DVR can be scheduled on a maximum of only one channel, however, this function can greatly enhance the use of this function and the different scenarios in which you can use it.

Then you have Perimeter protection, which improves alarm accuracy and filters out false alerts caused by leaves, animals, lights, and more. There are 4 internal hard drive bays that support up to a whopping 16TB of storage per hard drive bay, giving you the capacity to have up to 64TB of internal hard drive storage to suit various data retention requirements.
