Talk about covert! This camera is made to be mounted in the wall and will sit flush when complete. This can be placed so that it is obvious or you can be sneaky and put it behind a painting or anything else that might be mounted on the wall with this behind it. This is intended to be used to protect what’s yours but make sure you check local laws to make sure use of this is legal. HD CVI uses a standard coaxial cable and a 12V DC power supply so if you’ve had a previous analog installation, there won’t be a need to spend the time and money on new cabling!

This camera does NOT provide any infrared lighting so you need to place it somewhere with constant light if you are interested in recording 24/7. With a 2.8mm fixed lens, you can get a wide overall view of a large room like a warehouse or maybe an outdoor parking lot. This is a great option for many covert applications and the 2MP (1080p) resolution allows you to see relevant detail that can be the difference when you are trying to identify a criminal!
