Introducing the IPOD-EL8IRZA-EP eyeball-dome. This camera is part of our amazing lineup of motorized varifocal lens IP Cameras in 4k. While other IP cameras are stuck at 15 FPS while using 4k, this unit can run at a buttery smooth 30 FPS while maxed out at 8 megapixels. Along with ai aided h265 video compression, this camera sacrifices no footage quality, while also costing less hard drive space than h264 or standalone h265.
For mounting outdoors you’ll have no issues as this camera is IP67 weather resistance rated. This camera also features ePoE, and when used in conjunction with an ePoE switch or recorder, can be installed 800 meters from the switch and still transmit data and power effectively.
With motorized varifocal zoom, you’ll be able to optically hone in on that perfect shot with no loss of quality. In fact, you’ll be able to detect objects at approximately 748 feet, observe objects at approximately 299 feet, recognize people at approximately 151 feet, and identify people at approximately 75 feet.
While it’s bright out this unit will impress you with its crystal clear 4k image and color quality. At night this camera comes equipped with both infrared, and even better, starlight technology. Using the aforementioned starlight technology, this camera can see in color in the dark down to .0004 lux and in black and white down to 0 lux with infrared aided illumination.
AI features are very popular today, and this camera comes equipped with AI-aided tools such as facial detection. The IPOD-EL8IRZA-EP can recognize facial attributes, perform perimeter protection via IVS tripwire and intrusion box, additional alerting provided via motion detection, and it can perform people counting as well.
The SD card feature on this camera creates a strong backup contingency. You’ll also need an automatic network replenishment (or ANR) capable recorder to take advantage of this feature. That’s because when used with ANR the recorder will automatically poll the SD cards of any cameras it has lost connection with for their missing footage
