The NVR-ELE4ME-P4KS2 is the most recent 4-channel NVR from our Elite line of surveillance equipment. It has 4 ports of POE built into it and this simplifies the installation of this system and reduces the networking involved. You will be able to simply mount your cameras and then run a cat 5 or cat 6 from the camera directly into the back of the NVR.
This Network Video Recorder’s advanced operating system supports some of the most state-of-the-art video compression technologies available (H.264, H.265, H.265 auto switch, Smart H.264+, and Smart H.265+). This cutting-edge compression can be important with this recorder because it can use cameras with up to 8 megapixel (4K!) resolution.
SMD+ (Smart Motion Detection+) can also be utilized to reduce the amount of storage space required and the amount of data being handled. It also has a potent processor that can handle 80 Mbps. You can select up to a 10 TB drive for this NVR, which is a substantial amount of storage space.
