Introducing the new 2MP IP Network Thermal detection camera from our Elite series! This is the first Thermal camera we have ever introduced. This camera combines a thermal image sensor as well as a 2mp visible light image sensor with a 4mm lens. This camera will pan and tilt allowing you to watch a larger area than a typical fixed position camera. Combined with the thermal capabilities, this camera is perfect for watching some of the darkest areas and seeing the activity that a normal camera would miss.

A great feature of this camera is it’s High Thermal Sensitivity (<50mK). High Thermal Sensitivity allows the camera to recognize the smallest differences in temperature and capture more image detail. A few standard IVS features that come with this camera that you may be familiar with are Tripwire Detection, Intrusion Detection, and Smart Tracking. However, this camera has a plethora of IVS features, such as Fire Detection & Alarm, Hot/Cold Spot Trace, Human/Vehicle Classification and Smoking Detection. Due to the cameras high thermal sensitivity, it can accurately detect a fire/smoke at long distances, as well as notify you about it. The camera can also be set up to use the visible LED light and built-in loudspeaker to help deter criminals.

Equipped with an Uncooled VOx Microbolometer image sensor and a 4/3.5mm hybrid fixed lens, this camera gives you a smaller, lighter, and lower cost detector than regular cooled thermal detectors. A microbolometer is a smaller sized thermal detector that doesn’t require mass amounts of cooling. Other typical thermal cameras utilize larger bolometer sensors that in turn require coolers such as liquid nitrogen coolers which typically require a cooldown period of over ten minutes.

With an IP66 rating and a 6KV lightning rating, you could place it virtually anywhere, indoors or out. To help ensure you always have a clear image, BLC (Backlight Compensation), HLC (Highlight Compensation) and DWDR (Digital Wide Dynamic Range) can help compensate how the camera sees in difficult lighting environments. If you’re worried about needing to see clearly at night, this camera also has IR capabilities, allowing you to see clearly up to 114ft in complete darkness.

This camera also features a Micro SD card slot capable of handling up to a 256GB micro SD card for either recording directly or used with ANR (Automatic Network Replenishment). ANR will keep the camera recording even if something has happened to the connection with the NVR and once the connection is reestablished, the NVR will grab the lost footage, to an extent, to fill in the gap of recording. You can power this camera with the included 12vdc power supply or with a PoE+ switch.

There are a variety of mounting options available for this camera. You can use the included wall mount. Or you can use the CM-EL300C to provide you with a pendent mounting solution, you will need to add the MA-EL111 if you chose this mounting style. You can add a PM-EL150 and pole mount the camera, or a CM-EL151 for a corner mount solution. If you add the PB-EL303S and the MA-EL111 you can use the parapet mounting solution for the top of a building. Add the MA-EL120 to any of the mounting solutions where the wall mount is utilized to give you a nice junction box behind the camera.
