This new camera is a selection from our Alliance line of security cameras and is a replacement for our very popular HDCV-AL2-SMOKE but with a few additions that will continue to make it a favorite. As before, this looks like a smoke detector but hidden inside is a covert 2MP camera that works with 4 different technologies. This connects to your new or existing coaxial cable and works with HD-CVI, TVI, AHD and Analog to give you a sharp, high definition, 1080p video. Beyond the coaxial cable, the only things you’ll need is a 12v DC power supply that you probably have already or it can be easily included if you are starting from scratch.

One of the great features is a 1/2.8in 2.4MP Sony Starvis™ Low-light CMOS Sensor that contributes to the vivid video quality and the camera’s ability to produce that video even in low light situations. The new 2.8mm fixed lens gives you an even wider view than the previous version so that you can have an amazing overall view of larger areas. Use this and a couple of fixed cameras to see everything and then check out our HD PTZ Cameras that will allow you to focus your view on potential crimes as they occur. Criminals are sneaky so why not use the ability to hide a camera or two to your advantage and make them less noticeable with these smoke detector cameras.
