The IPOB-ELF4LED28A-AI is 4 megapixel (2688 × 1520) camera from our Elite series of surveillance products, which has advanced Artificial Technology (AI) that works to better understand the area where it’s installed. The AI’s learning algorithms focus mostly on vehicles and people in order to maintain a high level of certainty and versatility. This allows for several impressive features like People Counting, Metadata, traffic data statistics, Face Capture, Face Recognition, ANPR (Automatic number-plate recognition) and Perimeter Protection. We’ll look at a few of these applications here.

Face Capture is a feature that records faces from digital video provided by the camera itself or an outside video source. As the camera see more faces, the AI will be able to locate faces faster and with more certainty.

The People Counting application uses progressive image processing to understand the spatial relations in the video frames. The AI analyzes this information to recognize and evaluate people in real time. This feature gives this camera the ability to compile data about when different people come and leave the camera’s view.

Perimeter Protection is a much more advanced way of doing motion based recording. This feature improves accuracy dramatically while reducing the number of changed pixels that is needed to trigger a motion event. Customizable trip wires are used to monitor limited access areas.

This camera is also a champ in low or even no light situations. It has a Full-color Starlight feature, which uses advanced picture processing and ability to absorb larger amounts of light to deliver impressive performance. Its Warm Supplemental lights allow this camera to provide full color HD video even in absolute darkness. Its smart light mode can adapt light sensitivity and exposure time to avoid overexposure of the target area. This is in addition to the standard 3D Digital Noise Reduction and Back Light Compensation, plus the new standard True WDR (140 dB).

The wide angle 2.8 mm lens that this camera uses will allow you to detect objects at approximately 190 feet, observe objects at approximately 75 feet, recognize people at approximately 39 feet and identify people at approximately 20 feet.
