The ACML-DX600EM is an Embedded Magnetic lock that can withstand 600 pounds of force. This MagLock is installed inside the door frame so the result will be flush instead of sticking out from the door frame. This Electromagnetic Lock is a great choice for a fire exit door as it will open when the alarm goes off or when the power is shut off. This is called Fail-Safe. Magnetic locks need power to stay locked. You can hook this Magnetic Lock to an access control panel and the system will be alerted when the door is opened and also when it is closed. Power can be supplied with 12vDC/24vDC

Happy with the order process although the magnet did not work when it arrived. Since I needed it right away, I did some troubleshooting and found the power wire solder joint was defective and had to be reattached. It is working now but you might want to check your QA process.
