This NVR supports ONVIF 2.4 protocol, making it a versatile recorder with various 3rd party IP cameras up to 4K resolution, which is 8MP and has plenty of storage capability inside of this unit with 4 hard drive bays allowing you to add up to 40TB worth of internal storage.

NVR-ELE32C-4KS2 supports Smart H.265+, H.264, H.265 & H.264 video compression and offers up to 200Mbps for incoming bandwidth.

There are a number of advanced features with this unit, such as the support of AI by Camera, which means that if your camera has some AI features this NVR may be able to work with it. These features include SMD plus, perimeter protection, and people counting. Please check the specifications of your cameras to confirm their features.

SMD is Smart Motion Detection, which greatly improves motion detection alerts by helping to filter out false alerts and only send you push notifications when there is a person or a vehicle within the motion area, or both while eliminating the annoying alerts from bugs around the camera.

This also supports ANR which is automatic network replenishment technology that when paired with IP cameras that have a microSD card inside of the camera, when the network connection between the NVR and the camera is broken, and after the connection has been restored, ANR can help to push the video from the microSD card in the camera back to the NVR and is then recorded on the internal hard drive(s) of the recorder, helping to eliminate any missing footage due to connectivity issues.
