This is a feature-packed system built to handle up to 5 MP incoming resolution from COAX cameras and can encode this into 5-MN or 1080p. 5-MN is a special mode that uses 5MP but with a slightly reduced horizontal resolution. This is still very good image quality and higher even than 1080p, without as much workload or space used on the disk.

This recorder can utilize facial capture and recognition on 2x camera channels. This recorder features a face database capacity of 10 databases max with a total of 10,000 images across any and all databases.

As for other AI features, the PENDVR-ELE16M-AI3 comes with Smart Motion Detection +, also known as SMD+. This allows motion detection aided by AI to avoid triggers on targets that are not persons or vehicles. The result? Way more accurate alerting and fewer false alerts.

IVS perimeter protection via tripwire and intrusion box is also present. This feature, like Facial capture and recognition, is usable on 2x camera channels.

Another great feature of the PENDVR-ELE16M-AI3 is its ability to not only work with all 4 major video signal types, but it can also accept up to 8x 6MP IP cameras for a total of 24 Camera channels. That means the PENDVR-ELE16M-AI3 is a great option for those looking for a room to expand their CCTV system in the future, and utilize IP cameras as well.

With the AI search feature, you’ll be able to quickly look through footage for key events. That footage will be encoded using AI-aided h265 compression, allowing more footage, at higher quality, using less space than ever before!
